We made it back to school for one week and unfortunatly we are having to educate our children at home again. Here is some ideas and activities for you to do with your children at home. It would be lovely to see what you have been up to, so please add them to TAPESTRY and I will always add a comment.
The activities and ideas will be below. You can download additional activities (to print) at the bottom of the page.
I hope that you enjoy learning with your child and please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions or require any further information.
It is fundamental that all children are read to daily so that they are able to develop their language skills. If you have any books at home then these could be read to your child, if not then visit https://www.storylineonline.net where you can access adults reading different stories. If you have a limited selection of story books, then https://www.youtube.com have great videos of stories being read. Some good books include; The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, Where's Spot? and Each, Peach, Pear, Plum.
Focus on 1 nursery rhyme per week.
