One morning we arrived at nursery and something had been making sooty paw marks on the path and up the wall.  We wondered what or who it might be?  We decided that it must have been Baby Bear from the 'Whatever Next!' story.  He got all sooty when he went whoosh, up the chimney in his rocket to fly to the moon. We have been learning our version of 'Whatever Next!' and putting actions to the words as well as doing lots of activities around the story.  We have played with moon dough, tried on astronaut suits, built our own rockets, found our own rocket, space helmet and space boots just like Baby Bear and flown to the moon to have a picnic. We went on a moon walk with Mrs Roome and collected space rocks.  It was very hard work so we had to have some special astronaut food. It was delicious!  We have also made our own astronaut biscuits and iced each of them a spacesuit.  We've had lots of fun!
